Remember 6 is a nonprofit that seeks to confront the perilous rise in Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism that is prevalent in our day. Shockingly, after Israel was brutally attacked by Hamas on October 7th, 2023, college students from across the US, embraced this act of terror, shouting "Death to Israel" and "Death to the Jews". Whatever happened to "Never Again"? Are we seeing the beginning of another Jewish Holocaust? Did we forget that 6 million Jews were strategically murdered from 1939-1945? How should we respond? By NOT being silent!
Our Purpose is to use educational and informational programs to combat the disturbing rise in anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial. These programs are geared to challenge the ignorances and misconceptions about the Jewish people that took place during the Holocaust and those that are taking place now. In addition, we seek to elevate awareness, speak historic truth and honor all who have been impacted by the Holocaust.
Our Mission is to see a growing community of people, young and old alike, who are equipped and ready to stand against Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism.
Purposeful remembrance is more than a moment of emotion, it is a decision to remember truthfully, with care, and without turning suffering into spectacle.
Because denial, distortion, and hatred thrive when memory fades. Remembering keeps historic truth visible, and guards human dignity in the present.
We practice purposeful remembrance through gathering, learning enough context to be accurate, listening to testimony, and speaking with clarity when denial or antisemitism appears.
